Dean Spyros Pavlides (Dean of Sciences and a Professor in the Department of Geology and Physical Geography, Aristotle University) is visiting the UA campus from March 13-22, 2014, to deliver a guest lecture as well as getting to know more about the University of Alabama in general and the College of Arts & Sciences in particular. His own work is on such areas as the application of geological data for assessing seismic hazards.
